Slave auction event

In the past I've explored some things in Second Life that I wouldn't do so easily in real life. Like BDSM (the bondage/submission stuff mostly). I had a fun time and while I was organizing my inventory not long ago, I came across some of the old landmarks referring to these places.

And one of the places was Chains of Captivity, a BDSM themed club/dungeon/mall. I met the manager of the place, Xia Nishi, and got invited to the group. Didn't mean to be rude, so I accepted, but forgot about it basically. But then I started getting group notices about an upcoming slave auction, and my curiosity caught me. So that's how I ended up at one of these events today.


The auction works as follows: a slave that wants to be auctioned off will sit on a scripted pedestal and bidders pay the pedestal to make their bids. Any bids lower than the highest will be paid back immediately and the top 5 of bids is shown as a hovering text. There are several typical poses that a slave can choose from. An auction usually lasts for 20 minutes or so, but that might change depending on how busy it is. A slave usually is rented/hired either for 1 day, 3 days or a week and the slave and master/mistress will negotiate any other details and preferences.


It was a slow night when I was there, but this particular slave event didn't get the full publicity that it usually gets. Slave auctions are typically every week, but it depends on the availability of the manager. But if you join the group 'Captivity Premium Members', you'll get notices on when the next auction will be.

So, how did it go? This particular slave got auctioned off for L$ 100, but that's on a slow night. Pretty good deal for the new mistress, since she now has a slave at her disposal for 3 days. I guess the price is symbolic in this case, just bringing submissives and dominants together in an original way.

Portrait Develops Into Portfolio:

Having been asked for a head & shoulders picture for the staff profile, I realized that I had no decent snapshots, ever tried to take one of yourself?

So it was off to a friend of mine, Robbie at the ThinkTank Studios, to see if he could take one for me.

What should have been a quick photo, ended up being a full blown photo shoot.
Never having done anything like that before, Robbie was quick to put me at ease, and under the lights. Posing on his impressive photo pose machine, I watched in amazement as my avatar was turned this way & that, giggling to myself as I watched 'me' being manipulated into some strange, and at times, camp positions.
It wasn't long before I was convinced to 'bare all' and pose naked for the camera.

That is where it became almost surreal, seeing myself nude on the screen, being contorted into even more positions.
Eventually the session came to an end and I was presented with a portfolio of 27 photographs. Robbie deliberately didn't show me them first, but let me be surprised with the contents. I can assure you that I was surprised with the photographs, I was amazed at how his camera had managed to 'lie', grin.

I have included a few of the nude ones to let you see the quality of work Robbie produces.

He is open to all commissions for photo work and is now expanding into 'commercial' photography for those who wish 'professional' images of their property and/or merchandise.

I can highly recommend Robbie for both his professionalism and sense of fun.

On the scale of weirdness ...

One of the beautiful things of Second Life, at least for a lot of people, is that they can live their secret sexual fantasies. Freedom of sexual expression for everyone (as long as it's between consenting adults) is the slogan.

And thus there is a lot of weird stuff out there. So how about this? Where does this go on YOUR scale of weirdness? (feel free to leave comments)

So, if this is your thing, you should really look up the shop and showroom of Sensual Stoneworks. And if not, but do encounter someone with a larva sticking out of them, respect their sexual fetish and make sure you're not impregnated by them.


For me personally, it scores 12 out of 10 on the scale of weirdness. How about you?

Naked In Public:

Robbie Mimistrobell has taken the concept of placing avatars into real life backgrounds.
Nothing new there I hear you say, but this time the avatars are NAKED.
Yes, shock horror, naked.
In the ThinkTank Gallery, he has created 3 floors of avatar photography using nude models. Split into sections, Robbie has compiled a rather attractive display of both male and female avatar portraits in all their nude splendour.

The top floor has been turned into his new exhibit, Naked In Public, where he has created some 'interesting' portraits by, as mentioned, placing a real life background to the naked model.

While this seems a simple thing to do, Robbie has managed to make it appear as the most natural thing to do, get naked in public that is.

Whilst this may seem to be just an excuse to view naked flesh (who needs an excuse anyway) the artist has added his own sense of humour to each piece…when was the last time you had a delivery by a nude fedex man? He has managed to create a display of nudes without resorting to the 'pornography' side of things, which could have spoilt it.

This is worth a visit (or two) if just for the unusual way of seeing avatar flesh in all its glory.

New: Rent-A-Slut

It was a beautiful day in SL because, after days of having lots of trouble TP'ing and inventory problems, I finally got around to cleaning my inventory. One of my favourite parts of that, is to visit all those old bookmarks to see if the paces still exist. And sometimes you even run across places that you haven't seen before. Why did we have that landmark again?

While I was busy doing this, I landed in a BDSM place. I'm not too easily embarassed, so I did actually have a good look around. I kind of like all that stuff. Maybe not so much because of the sexual nature of it (my nose is getting longer as I type this), but also because of the incredible geniality which it must take to invent all those weird machines. From stands that just chain you up and spread your legs, to tiny cages with gangbang poseballs. Not to mention the bukkake, torture and blood stuff, to the whole pee/poo/puke/pain stuff.

However, while I was walking around there, all bewildered about the technical bits, I came across something that I hadn't seen before and was actually different from the usual BDSM gadgets and furniture. It was some kind of thing on the wall where you can strap yourself in and have yourself sold off as a slave slut.

The name of the thing: Rent a Slut.


To be honest, I was not so much inclined to try it out myself, so I called a friend who was online and has some experience with the whole submission thing. It was so funny to see how she posed on the thing, the ropes tightened around her arms, tummy and legs and how she was sealed in plastic, like she was some new toy.


She told me that she had gotten some kind of mini-HUD, an electronic implant that would make it possible for her to obey any order that her new owner would utter. And it also came with a nice free ball gag. Of course we also wanted to see what would happen if someone would buy her, and I was willing to put submit some funny expenses to the Newspaper accounts department, so I bought her for a mere L$ 300. The first thing that happened was that I got my own HUD, a remote control. Then she dropped off the thing and actually it was fun to use the remote control and see her stand and sit in various positions.

However, from the L$ 300, my new toy only got L$ 50. The rest probably went to the owner of the thing. Quite a moneymaker for any sex club or dungeon owner I guess. I looked up the shop where this thing could be bought and I found out that the thing costs L$ 2350 (or 3 for L$ 4790). And there are other versions (low prim and shemale) and add-ons (urination, machine probe and a playground) available. So there's your reason why the owner of the thing wants to have his/her share of the money you pay for your slut.

Oh, I almost forgot to say that it was quite funny to see how there are 3 poseballs in front of it, giving 3 chances to try before you buy. When you use the poseballs, sounds come up and from the bottom hole in the plastic wrap (guess what's behind there), it starts to drip. And with the 3rd poseball, you actually get a vibrator which you can use.


Of course, the bought slut and the new owner would have to work out the details themselves, about what and whatnot, and for how long the slut would be available to the owner. And the poses included in the HUD are limited, so additional toys or maybe a collar would be welcome. But other than that, I do applaude the originality of this thing and didn't want to keep this from you.
